Cooking Program

Day 1: Arrival at Florence airport, transfer to the Villa l’Olmo Hotel with a welcome diner.

Day 2: Morning cooking class followed by lunch and an afternoon excursion in Florence including a visit to its Cathedral “Santa Maria del Fiore” an excursion to the old palace “Loggia dei Lanzi” and a walk on the old bridge: “Ponte Vecchio”

Day 3: Morning cooking class followed by lunch. Afternoon visit to the village of Chianti, stop in a local vineyard for wine tasting and dinner in a local restaurant

Day 4: Morning cooking class followed by lunch and an afternoon excursion in San Gimignano, known as a charming, particularly well-preserved medieval fortified town which dominates the entire valley

Day 5: Morning cooking class followed by lunch and an afternoon excursion in Siena, founded at the beginning of the Roman era by Senus, the son of Remus

Day 6: Morning cooking class followed by lunch and an afternoon excursion in Arezzo situated near the Alpe di Poti, in the centre of a wide basin

Day 7: Day at leisure followed by a farewell dinner

Day 8: After breakfast, transfer to Florence airport



Package price includes:

  • 7 nights accommodation in a private one-bedroom apartment at the Relais Villa l’Olmo in Impruneta near Florence (upgrade to private villa available at a supplement)
  • Daily breakfast, five lunches, and three dinners
  • 5 cooking classes followed by lunch
  • 5 half-day guided visit to Florence, Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo
  • Roundtrip group transfer from Florence airport to the hotel

    Villa l'Olmo

    The Villa L’Olmo lies in the famous Chianti Region, at 10km from Florence, and at walking distance from the village center. Elegant apartments each with living room and fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, direct phones, satellite TV, air conditioning, large swimming pool area, gardens and private cottages with the same comforts are at your disposal.

    The Relais was completely renovated preserving the original structure. In the ancient loggia, breakfast is served to the guests that request the service. The property, which came into the present owner’s family in 1700, includes their private villa and a typical country restaurant located in a small wood. The reception is at the guests’ disposal during daytime for sale of their own farm products: olive oil, wine and honey.
