Program

Day 1: Arrival transfer from Rome airport to the Quattro Fontane hotel with an arrival dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Half-day morning city tour including Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Castel S. Angelo and St Peter’s Basilica, afternoon at leisure.

Day 3: Half-day morning tour to the ancient Rome including Piazza Venezia, piazza del Campidoglio, Fori Romani, Circo Massimo and St Paul’s Basilica, afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Half-day morning tour to the Vatican Museum, lunch in a local restaurant and transfer to Florence. Accommodation at the Adler Cavalieri Hotel.

Day 5: Half-day morning tour of the city center including Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Baptistery, Academy of Fine Arts, Signoria Square, Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza Michelangelo and Ponte Vecchio, afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Half-day morning tour to Chianti Area, afternoon at leisure and dinner in a restaurant in Florence

Day 7: Morning departure for Venice, afternoon visit of the city center including Piazza and Basilica of St Mark, Doges’ Palace, the bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Accommodation at Al Sole Palace Hotel.

Day 8: Half-day morning tour to Murano, Burano and Torcello. Afternoon at leisure followed by a farewell dinner.

Day 9: Departure transfer to Venice airport.

    The Quattro Fontane

    The Quattro Fontane hotel is centrally located near via Veneto, Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. Its renovation, completed in June 1996, has been carried out in compliance with the most modern criteria, thus offering all comforts to tourists visiting ancient Rome. Materials and colors used for the hotel renovation recall the memories and warmth of Rome, the eternal city. All the 60 rooms, tastefully furnished, are equipped with bathroom, telephone, color TV & air conditioning.



    The Adler Cavalieri

    The Adler Cavalieri hotel is located in a prestigious palace of late 19th century and was built on the ruins of an ancient monastery dating back to 1300 located just a few steps from the main railway station of Santa Maria Novella. Guests can reach all the most important Florence monuments in few minutes’ walk: the Duomo, Piazza Della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, & Santa Croce. The high comfort level, the elegant old Florence style furniture, the precious marbles and the Fresco-painted ceilings let hotel guests enjoy the charming atmosphere of 19th century Florence. The hotel is air-conditioned and equipped with all the modern technologies.



    Al Sole Palace

    Hotel Al Sole was once called Palazzo Marcello and belonged to a Patrician family. Built in the sixteenth century, this splendid Palazzo faces the Tolentini canal and was home to Benedetto Marcello (1686-1739) the famous composer renowned as the prince of Venetian music. Eighty rooms, intelligently blended into the context of an ancient Venetian Palazzo, still maintain the magical atmosphere of an enchanted era with its antique marble columns and five-centuries-old wooden engravings.
