Open your senses to Brittany's colors and flavors...the beauty and the diversity of the landscapes...the luminosity and infinite variability of the skies... a melodic and wild paradise...Brittany, a wonderful heritage...follow the coast and discover the Breton culture, the popular musical festivals, the architecture of the Cities of Art...taste the famous crepes and galettes with a bowl of cider...discover a maritime land, full of history, flavors and folklore.
 

DAY 1
Depart from Paris by high-speed TGV train to Rennes. Pick up a rental car at the train station and head for the Mont St Michel. Enjoy the rest of the day discovering this amazing site. Overnight at La Mere Poulard.


DAY 2
Departure for Trebeurden on the northern Brittany coast. On the way, visit charming Brehat Island for the day (optional). Leave the car on the mainland and board a scenic ferry for a 1_-hour cruise and then spend the rest of the day exploring the island. Return directly to the coast in the afternoon and continue to Trebeurden on the northern coast. Overnight at the Hotel Ti Al Lannec.


DAY 3
Discover the Pink Granite Coast and the Seven Islands archipelago. Discover the many granite rocks, which stand out along the shores, creeks and small islands and be amazed by the changing colors and strange eroded forms of this rocky chaos. Then, board a former crayfish boat and visit the largest bird reserve in Europe, home to thousands of gannets birds, puffins, and razorbills. Overnight at the Hotel Ti Al Lannec.


DAY 4
Departure for the western Brittany coast. On the way, stop in the beautifully well-preserved town of Morlaix. A local guide will show you the treasures of this old city...buy your bread in a 15th century baker's shop, stroll in the paved narrow streets and discover the old timbered and stone houses unique in the world. Continue to Plonevez- Porzay. Overnight at the Manoir de Moellien.


DAY 5
Today, take a tour of the Musée du Cidre (Cider museum) and discover the traditional manufacture method of Brittany's famous beverage from apple to refreshing drink. Enjoy lunch in a charming, little auberge and taste the famous Brittany crepes with a glass of cider. Then, discover the Crozon Peninsula and be marveled by the breathtaking cliffs, the wonderful shades of rocks and the violent waves crashing against the reefs. Overnight at the Manoir de Moellien.


DAY 6
Departure for the southern Brittany coast. Stop in Quimper, an attractive town known for its many museums and tradition of art. Continue down the coast to Moelan-sur-Mer. Optional horseback-riding on the beach. Overnight at the Moulin du Duc.


DAY 7
Journey to the interior countryside of Brittany and visit the Manoir de Kernault.   This monument, built in the 15 th -century, is an outstanding example of the development of Breton manor houses since the Middle Ages. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and gardens, you will enjoy the secrets and stories of this manor house.   Overnight at the Moulin du Duc.

DAY 8:

Take your time today to travel down the coast to the unique island of Noirmoutier.   Overnight at the Hotel les Prateaux.  

DAY 9:

Take a private discovery tour of an oyster farm followed by an oyster tasting, accompanied by a bottle of white wine, of course! Then, enjoy lunch in a typical, local restaurant.   After lunch, continue the discovery tour of the Isle of Noirmoutier with your local guide. Overnight at the Hotel les Prateaux.  

DAY 10:       

Drop-off your rental car at the Nantes rail station and return to Paris by the high-speed TGV train.
