Day 1: Athens
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for 3 nights. Balance of day at leisure.
Athens, the classical capital of the Ancient world and the birthplace of Western Civilization is an experience not to be missed. Here, past and present come together to offer one a wealth of experiences, sights, unforgettable memories and romance. High above the city stands the Acropolis with the proud and celebrated Parthenon as its Crown Jewel.
Day 2: Athens
Today you will visit Athens. This tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contracts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guide takes you to the centre of the city, constitution Square (Syntagma) the House of the Parliament, the Memorial to the unknown Soldier and the National Library. Driving down Herod Atticus street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, visit the temple of Olympian Zeus and will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of Modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit of the museum and the architectural masterpieces of Golden Age of Athens. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3:
At leisure. Opportunity for an optional day tour to Delphi.
Day 4: Athens//Mykonos
Check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the lobby at 06:00am for your transfer to Piraeus to embark the High Speed Ferry to Mykonos departing at 07:20am. On arrival in Mykonos at 11:00am you will be met by your private driver for your transfer to your hotel.
Day at leisure.
Day 5: Mykonos
Mykonos combines the cosmopolitan and sophisticated lifestyle with the simple yet charming life of this Cycladic island. Take a stroll through the maze of narrow streets, marvel at the hundreds of tiny chapels and the whitewashed houses with their flower-filled balconies. Take a walk up to the famous windmills or just relax accompanied by a refreshing drink or traditional Ouzo on the waterfront of “Small Venice.” Enjoy the sunsets and the white sandy beaches.
Day 6: Mykonos
Full day at leisure to explore or simply relax.
Day 7: Mykonos/Santorini
Check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the lobby at 1:15pm for your private transfer to the pier to embark the High speed Ferry to Santorini departing at 2:25pm. On arrival at the pier in Santorini at 5:25pm you will be met by your driver who will be holding up a sign with your name on it for your transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 8: Santorini
Santorini is a unique island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. Marvel at the whitewashed village of Fira, capital of the island, with its narrow and picturesque streets perched on the Caldera rim. Enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, while relaxing over a coffee and gazing out to sea. Visiting Oia is also a must, an inspiration to all artists with numerous art galleries and spectacular views. Full day at leisure to explore or simply relax.
Day 9: Santorini
Enjoy your last full day on the island at your own leisure.
Day 10: Santorini/Athens
Pickup from your hotel for a transfer to Santorini Airport to return flight to Athens. |
